SIXTH GRADE

Students bowed, practiced verbs by doing exercises, and sang a hiragana song. The story of Tanabata was read out loud in kamishibai form (with large illustrations). Sensei handed out Tanzaku pages, and students wrote wishes on them/.



SEVENTH GRADE

Students were assigned alphabetically to numbered tables.
Everyone practiced counting, bowing, and hiragana order (song).



Students listened quietly while Sensei was reading Tanabata story -- we will finish another day.



EIGHTH GRADE


Reviewing words students have learned already in Japanese:
はじめまして、 なまえ、せんせい、おてんき、あつい、かぜ、あめ、 あお、しろ、くろ、あか、にほん、いち、なな、よん、ろく

Page with these sheets was handed out, for students to write ROOMAji version, using chart on the back.

Class began listening to Tanabata story -- to be completed in future days.



FIFTH GRADE
